Do I have to pay online to book with Mantra Mountain?
No. Every trek and activity on this site can be arranged by email enquiry — you send your dates and interests, we reply with a plan and a price, and payment is settled directly. Some trips are also listed on GetYourGuide if you prefer to book through a platform.
When is the best time to trek in Nepal?
October and November give the clearest mountain views and the most stable weather, and March to early May is the second window, with rhododendron forests in bloom and warmer nights. December and January are cold but very clear at lower altitude. June to September is monsoon — still workable in rain-shadow areas such as Upper Mustang.
Which trek should I choose if it is my first time in Nepal?
Ghorepani Poon Hill (4–5 days) is the usual answer: real Himalayan views, teahouses the whole way, and nothing above about 3,210 m. If you have a week to ten days and reasonable fitness, Mardi Himal or Annapurna Base Camp are the natural step up.
Do you have different prices for Nepali and foreign travellers?
Yes, and we publish both. Nepali and SAARC rates are lower than foreigner rates on most activities, and national park and permit fees also differ by nationality. Those permit costs are listed separately so you can see exactly what is ours and what is the government's.
